Council Wide Bridging Event
Come and celebrate 100 years of Bridging in our Council as we kick off-
GSSNE's Centennial Year Celebrations!
Lincoln Woods State Park
Field E (located near the beach area)
Throughout the Girl Scout year, our girls unleash their incredible potential to accomplish amazing things for themselves and their communities. They grow, learn, and enjoy countless adventures together.
Now it's time to stop and reflect-to take stock of every memorable moment while celebrating our inspiring young leaders as they bridge to the next level in their Girl Scout journey, one filled with new experiences to enjoy, new discoveries to make, and new trails to blaze!
Come celebrate the accomplishments of every awesome Girl Scout that makes our Council better, brighter, and more connected for all of us.
Bring a picnic dinner to enjoy prior to the ceremony, and enjoy SWAPS, songs and sweets following the ceremony. Girls will be presented with a bridging certificate and the Keys to Leadership, Discover, Connect, and Take Action.
Council Bridging Patch will be available for purchase at the event.
This event is open to troops and individual Girl Scouts and their families. Only girls who will be participating in the bridging ceremony need to register with their attending adult. Spectators are welcome but do not need to register.
Space is limited to please register early.
3:00 - 4:00pm BYOP-bring your own picnic and field games
4:00pm Girls gather for ceremony
4:30pm Welcome and Bridging Ceremony
SWAPS, Songs and Sweets following the ceremony in the picnic area
Please Note: Girls who will be participating in the Bridging Ceremony should, if possible, wear a full uniform (tan pants or skirt, white shirt and vest or sash)
